Google Sign-In
When you choose Google, it makes basic account information available to our authentication provider, Clerk, for sign-in: your account identifier, email address and verification status, and available profile information such as your name and profile picture. We use this information to establish and manage your sign-in account. Gryff requests the openid, email and profile permissions. These permissions do not give Gryff access to your Gmail messages, Drive files, calendar or contacts.
Microsoft Sign-In
When you choose Microsoft, Clerk uses your account identifier and available email and profile information to establish and maintain your sign-in account. The configured permissions allow sign-in, reading your own profile and maintaining that access. They do not authorize access to your mailbox or files.
Your Gryff Account And Activity
Gryff links your authenticated account to the program access an administrator has granted. Its administrator-maintained account record stores an identifier, email address, optional display name and access status. Signing in with Google does not by itself grant access to program information.
Gryff records who performs actions such as adding reviews, updating follow-up work, changing access or issuing reports. Authorized users may see the name and email associated with that work. These records support accountability within the program.
Storage And Service Providers
Clerk manages the sign-in account and session. Gryff stores its linked account and activity records in the application database, with restricted backups. Authentication, hosting and network-security providers process information needed to deliver those services. Account and program information is available to authorized Firestorm operators and users according to their permissions.
The sign-in service uses cookies to maintain your session. Gryff also saves your light or dark theme preference on your device.
Account Choices And Retained Records
Use Account & security in Gryff to manage your sign-in settings. You can also review or remove the Google connection in your Google Account. Removing that connection or signing out does not delete your Gryff account, program work or historical attribution. Disabling program access also preserves those records and their backups.
For account corrections, access removal or a request to delete personal information, contact [email protected]. Include the account email and the nature of the request; do not send passwords, authentication codes or backup codes.
